Playing in the second tier of English rugby with crowd support again, Coventry rallied at the tail end of the season to enjoy a fantastic Cup run, reaching the final of the Championship Cup.
It was 48 years since Coventry last played in a competitive final in 1974, so falling short in a tight final 19-13 to table topping Ealing Trailfinders was no disgrace.
With an influx of new young players this summer and the appointment of Alex Rae as a Head coach, we look forward to an exciting season and a few pints at the Butts.
