Shirui Lily Ltd recently signed a year long sponsorship deal with Coventry Rugby Club which sees Shirui Lily’s logo brand displayed at the Butts Park Arena for twelve months.
Simon Kinson, Shirui Lily’s Owner commented on the sponsorship ‘’ I am delighted to be associated with Coventry Rugby club, one of the oldest and most respected clubs in English rugby with a proud tradition stemming back to 1874. Coventry Rugby club are a community club which share our family values. They are synonymous with Coventry being at the heart of the city’’.
Having provided most of the England rugby team in the 1970’s, Coventry rugby now reside in tier 2 of the rugby pyramid in the Greene King Championship. Under the ownership of Jon Sharp they have ambitious plans to develop an mixed residential and retail complex around the Butts to provide a city living lifestyle space for the next generation.
Simon further commented ‘Its an exciting time for the City of Coventry, being the City of Culture 2021, the rugby club although hugely effected by the pandemic recently played former European Champions Saracens at home in front of a crowd for the first time in 15 months. We can’t wait for next season now’.
